Clomiphene enhances the secretion of testosterone in men. Clomiphene also indirectly affects spermatogenesis, increasing the amount of sperm in the seminal fluid.

Clomiphene increases testosterone levels, and consequently has a positive impact on the side effects of testosterone deficiency, while the testicles retain the ability to respond to gonadotropin stimulation.

Is Clomid safe for a man?

Clomid (Clomiphene Citrate) is an antiestrogen that extends to the hypothalamus and gonads. The FDA first approved clomiphene in the United States in 1967.
In addition to the use of the drug in medicine for the treatment of various kinds of diseases associated with infertility and problems with conceiving a child in women, Clomid is quite a popular remedy in men of all ages.
The use of the drug in men is limited to two areas:
    • As part of combination therapy or as an independent drug with a decrease in testosterone (hypogonadism) due to old age. Its significant advantage over hormone replacement therapy with testosterone is that it does not suppress the secretory function of the sex glands, but rather stimulates it.
    • Like PCT after taking anabolic steroids. It is appreciated by athletes for rarely encountered side effects, the selectivity of action and high efficiency.

What exactly does Clomid do?

Clomid is used to trigger the axis of the hypothalamus-pituitary-testes. Clomiphene is an antiestrogen related to tamoxifen that blocks normal estrogen feedback at the hypothalamic level and subsequent negative feedback at the pituitary level.
Clomid counteracts the negative feedback of estrogens on the hypothalamic-pituitary-testicular axis.
This leads to an increase in luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). In men, these increased levels of gonadotropins stimulate Leydig cells in the testes and lead to increased testosterone production.

When should I take Clomid tablets?

Dosage should be prescribed individually for advice on taking steroids. As a rule, it is 50 mg per day. Take the drug orally with water.

How to use Clomiphene Citrate 50 mg?

Clomiphene Citrate is usually prescribed to young men with hypogonadism. To increase testosterone levels, the drug is taken at a dose of 25-50 mg per day for 3 months.
This tool has been used by specialists for many decades to increase the natural production of testosterone, sperm and increase the likelihood of conception in patients.
Compared with testosterone replacement therapy for men with hypogonadism. Clomid can be considered the best alternative due to the fact that:
    • Clomiphene stimulates its own testosterone production.
    • Clomid is available in tablets and is convenient for use.
    • This drug is fairly cheap and affordable.
    • Clomid has a relatively low risk of side effects.

How to take Clomiphene Citrate?

In small doses (25-50 mg per day), the drug blocks estrogen receptors, but in large doses, it stimulates them. Therefore, in large doses, clomiphene does not show an antiestrogenic effect, but an estrogenic one. In this regard, clomiphene does not make sense to use in doses greater than 100 mg per day.
To increase testosterone levels, the drug is taken at a dose of 50 mg per day for 2-3 months. After a course of clomiphene should be tested for the level of luteinizing hormone (LH) in serum and pause in the use of the drug.
However, experienced athletes use Clomiphene in an alternative course: 5 days, Clomid is taken at 100 mg per day, dividing the dose into two parts. On the 6th day of taking the drug, the dosage is reduced to the usual 50 mg per day.
Please note that during post-cycle therapy (PCT), Clomid is not taken for a long time – only 14-21 days

How long does Clomid take to work for men?

To date, Clomiphene Citrate has successfully established itself as an excellent tool for restoring hormonal levels in men. To increase testosterone levels, the drug is taken at a dose of 25-50 mg per day for 3 months.

How much Clomid should I take?

In men, Clomid stimulates increased production of its own testosterone. For this, Clomid is taken for a long time in small dosages. For a natural increase in testosterone levels, the drug is taken at a dose of 25-50 mg per day for 3 months.
Clomid has functional properties that will be beneficial for consumers of anabolic steroids in the post-cycle period (PCT). This is crucial because taking anabolic steroids will naturally lower testosterone levels. The standard dosage of Clomid in PCT begins with 100 mg per day for the first week. From the second week, the dose should be reduced to 50 mg per day for 1-2 weeks.
